How to Undo in the Note Application on the iPhone
Making a mistake while using Notes on the Apple iPhone can be annoying,
particularly if you accidentally delete important business content.
Although there isn't an Undo button on the Notes app, there is an undo
function built into the iPhone itself. All you have to do is give the
iPhone a shake while the app is still open and the iPhone prompts you to
undo the mistake. While the prompt button says "Undo Typing," this
button works for accidental deletions, cuts or any other editing you
last did in the app.
Shake the iPhone to undo mistakes in many apps including Mail.
Step 1Launch
the iPhone Notes app. Select any note. Type something in the note or
highlight and delete some of the text already in the note.
Step 2Shake the iPhone three or four times. The "Undo Typing" button appears.
Step 3Tap the "Undo Typing" button. The last edit you made to the note is undone.
